Now, let’s get back to Vitalik’s first presentation about ‘Currency’ on Ethereum

You can have a currency such that 20% of the issuance goes to the people who do mathematical research and then if people want to support mathematical research, they can accept the currency. That doesn't actually cost to to them. It's not like they're donating, they're not losing money, but at the same time the more people accept this currency, the currency just naturally gains value and people working on these math problems just get this extra phantom value out of nowhere.

So, Web3 brands operate differently due to tokens and ownership dynamics.
